Adonel Concrete Donates $10,000 to Local Church Community
Adonel Concrete recently donated $10,000 to the Juan XXIII spiritual retreat. The funds will supplement the retreat's resources and help spread spiritual opportunity to other Catholics in the South Florida community. Luis Garcia , president of Adonel Concrete, presented the check to organization leaders during their weekly prayer group at All Saints Catholic Church in Sunrise , Fl.
“I was first introduced to this caring community by a close friend,” said Garcia. “After I participated in the retreat, I was extremely moved and decided to help reduce financial burden. I don't want anyone to be turned away due to a lack of funding.”
The Juan XXIII retreat offers participants a weekend of reflection through prayer in a caring and supportive environment. The retreats, held separately for men and women, are offered monthly at All Saints Catholic Church in Sunrise . For more information on the Juan XXIII retreat call 954-600-7511.
